En la Unidad 3 de Naturales, vamos a seguir trabajando sobre el cuerpo humano. Aquí podéis encontrar vídeos de vocabulario e informaciones acerca de los sistemas y aparatos, así como de los cinco sentidos.

UNIT 3 - THE HUMAN BODY

In this unit, we learn about the human body, the systems and five senses.

En esta unidad, estudiamos el cuerpo humano, los sistemas y aparatos del cuerpo, así como los cinco sentidos.

• Main characteristics of the human body: stages of life, main vocabulary (bones, skin, nerves, muscles...)

• Vital functions and systems:
• Nutrition: digestive system, respiratory system, circultaroy system, excretory system.
• Reproduction: reproductive system.
• Interaction: nervous system and five senses.

• Interaction: nervous system, five senses and anatomy of the inner ear and eye.

Funciones vitales, sistemas y aparatos: nutrición, reproducción, interacción.
Interacción: sistema nervioso, cinco sentidos, anatomía del oído interno y del ojo.

UNIT 2 - PLANTS

In this unit, we learn about plants, their nutrition and reproduction.

En esta unidad, estudiamos las plantas, su nutrición y reproducción.

• Types of plants: Tree, bush, grass

• Parts of the plant: Roots, stem (trunk), branches, leaves

• Photosynthesis (the process of nutrition: plants take light, water and carbon dioxide to produce carbohydrates and reject oxygen).

• Parts of the flower: Petal, stamen, pollen, pistil, ovule, calyx, sepal.

• Reproduction with seeds: The pollen of a plant reaches the pistil of another plant, it goes down and reaches the ovule. The ovule and the pollen make a seed. The pistil grows around the seed to form a fruit, which falls down and becomes a new plant.

UNIT 1 - ANIMALS

In this unit, we learn about animals and how to classify them.
We can classify according to various categories:

En esta unidad, aprendemos a clasificar los animales. Se pueden clasificar de acuerdo con varias categorías:

Desert / Tundra / Forest / Savanna / Aquatic habitat

• Nutrition:

De momento no empezamos a trabajar la nueva unidad de ciencias sociales. La empezaremos junt@s en clase. Os he mandado algunas páginas del cuaderno de actividades de sociales por si queréis adelantar tarea. Pero no es nada obligatorio, y es mejor priorizar las demás asignaturas.
